The arrival of the first Latin American peoples to the territory of present Algarve is considered by some authors as being the end of the 3rd Century. However, only in the 19th Century, with the emergence of a new science called Archeology, the human legacy left by these people has been exposed.

 

This exhibition aims to show significant part of that heritage, using some parts of a vast collection taken from the Parish Museum of Moncarapacho.
